Professional Experience & Qualifications:

I have a B.A. in Elementary Education K-8, 19 years experience teaching 3rd-6th grades.  I have been the Superintendant of Sunday School for 3 years and a Sunday school teacher for 13 years.

Interests & Hobbies:

Reading, hiking, fly fishing, camping, aerobics, and jogging.

Teaching Philosophy/ Classroom goals:

I believe that all children are unique individuals gifted by God for a special purpose. I believe every child can learn and deserves to be treated with love and dignity. My classroom goal is to help each student reach his or her academic potential and plant spiritual seeds for Christ in each heart.

Spiritual Testimony:

I grew up in a Christian home attending Sunday school and church. I asked Jesus to be in my heart at a young age because of the connection and witness of my Sunday school teacher. I slipped however, with my commitment to Christ in my high school years. Looking back, I can see God's fingerprints on my life as he protected me and kept knocking on the door of my heart. My walk with the Lord was restored and began to deepen as I took my first child to Sunday school. I knew I was laying a foundation for Christ in my daughter, however, He was drawing me close as well. I thank the Lord for the discipleship he provided me through my dad and the strong commitment to a church home from my mom. God's timing is perfect and his love is neverending!
